The following door and side panels colours are available at an additional cost at : R400 per door, for a white melamine door with impact edging R495 per door, for a colour melamine door with impact edging Matching colour side panel Now R450 each. A side panel is normally installed on an exposed side of the cupboard facing a bedroom door,that would normally be visible inorder to match the cupboard doors.You will usually find that a build in cupboard is positioned against one wall, as per the pictures above,with one exposed side,that would require only one side matching panel. Occasionally,most build in cupboard’s sides would face a wall,therefore would not require any matching side panels (cost saving cupboard installation). Plinth,the extra top piece of wood between the cupboard and ceiling (just to cover the space,if any exist between the cupboard and the ceiling) 150mm thick that you can cut to size R195. Please Note : From personal experience,walls and floors is 70% of the time not 100% the same in height or levelled,therefore fix all cupboards against the wall to ensure that doors align to 90 degrees. Value added: This is where your plinth pieces of wood is used to cover up any building errors to cut it into the sides or on top of the cupboards;for example your test your heights as follows : measure your one corner from the floor to the ceiling and do the same with the opposite corner. Do the same to check if your wall width is the same,measure the bottom ground from one corner to the other corner,do the same on the top ceiling corner to the opposite corner where you going to position the cupboard. Note any difference, if difference exist this could be tactfully be filled with the plinths to render a perfect build in cupboard. Our Melamine Faced Board (MFB) is produced by fusing a decorate melamine impregnated paper permanently onto a substrate of Particleboard or Medium Density Fibre Board (MDF) using heat and pressure. This provides a durable, scratch and moisture resistant surface. The board’s edges will still need to be edged to protect against moisture ingress. MFB is suitable for medium-duty vertical and light horizontal applications, such as door and drawer frontals, carcassing, furniture components and shelving, shop fitting, as well as interior wall cladding and building elements.
